Tan Mo finally took care of everything for Qiao Lan, and even arranged for someone to look after her. After finishing everything, he and Qiao Lan sat on the sofa to watch a movie together.

“Maybe soon,” Tan Mo said before pausing for a moment and then continuing, “but it might be a long time.”

If the best hospital couldn’t cure his leg, and he still couldn’t stand up. Then he would pack up, and come back soon.

But if there was a chance of saving his legs, then there would be a long rehabilitation period, so it will take a long time.

Tan Mo didn’t want to tell Qiao Lan that he was going to treat his legs, because even he didn’t know what would come of it.

It was an unknown and cruel trial.

The wheelchair that was being pushed on the floor made a slight noise, and Tan Mo who was frightened by the sound, stopped stiffly.

Qiao Lan did not wake up and continued sleeping peacefully.

Tan Mo looked at her quietly, the distance between them had never been so small. He was so close that he could hear her breathing, he stiffly stared at Qiao Lan’s sleeping face, as if he was exhausting all the energy and strength that he had. Courageously, he slowly leaned down.

His trembling lips were only two fingers away from Qiao Lan’s lips before they finally stopped. 

After a while, he carefully took Qiao Lan’s hand, lowered his head, and reverently printed his lips on her cold fingers.
